Picaxe
This is the Picaxe 28X1 that I used to program the Robot. I also used a seperate 4.5V power supply for the Picaxe so there is no voltage drop.
Ultrasonic sensor
Here i used 3 ultrasonic sensors for sensing the left,right and front walls of the maze. I used a piece of angle and washers I had left over from a job I had done at home as the bracket to minimise the cost.
Gearbox and wheel assembly
I have chosen to use a Tamiya 3V twin motor gearbox with Tamiya narrow wheels.
Power Supply
The battery pack I used consist of 3AA batteries (4.5V).
Base
The base is made from Tafe supplied polycarbonate.
